Message from the President
“Cang xiu xi you” (蔵修息遊) is a phrase from the Xueji, or Record on Learning, a chapter of the ancient Chinese classic the Book of Rites. It teaches that one first stores up a vast collection of books (cang), then studies them until their learning becomes part of oneself (xiu), and in time comes to live as naturally as breathing (xi). Beyond these three stages opens the state of you (遊): a life lived freely and without artifice — the world of the true master, the world of enlightenment, or satori.
For all of us at Panaxx Corporation, this state of serene and natural freedom is our ultimate goal.
Where good people gather, the place becomes a good one; and a good place, in turn, attracts more good people. Our wish is that everyone, in this open and natural spirit, may join heart to heart in building a paradise on earth.
This wish is not confined to our management and employees. We hope that Panaxx will be a place where the goals of all who support us and all who work with us are united in this same relaxed and harmonious spirit.
For more than six decades since its founding in 1963, Panaxx has served as a comprehensive consulting firm, building bridges between companies in Japan and abroad. 中国の古典『礼記』の一篇「学記」に、「蔵修息遊(ぞうしゅうそくゆう)」という言葉があります。万巻の書 物を蔵に蓄え(蔵)、それを読んで学問を身に修め(修)、やがて息をするようにごく自然体で生きる(息)。 そして蔵・修・息を経た先に開けるのが「遊」の境地――何の作為も用いず、遊々と生きる達人の世界、 悟りの世界である、と教えています。
私どもパナックス株式会社に関わる者の最終目標は、まさにこの「遊々」の境地であります。
